I got older again! Last year I made a themed Heyawake to celebrate my birthday, so this year I thought I'd do it again, but with my first original genre to make it a lil more special You may notice this looks a bit different to the typical La Paz's of the past, with an irregular shaped grid! I have to thank X Sheep once again for making this possible, it was just an idea I had floating around on a variant for the genre that they were able to add optionality for in Pzprxs <3 Shade some cells so that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent and divide the remaining unshaded cells into two-cell regions. Clues cannot be shaded. A clue in a horizontal region indicates the number of shaded cells in the same row as the clue (up until the nearest grid border); A clue in a vertical region indicates the number of shaded cells in the same column as the clue (up until the nearest grid border) It's essentially two puzzles but I put them together in the same link just to be compact Solve on Pzprxs https://tinyurl.com/2p8zkwjp
