#100 "Victory Road" - Path Puzzle Medley

Updated: Sep 10, 2023

Celebrating 100 posts on the site! I really ought to make bigger puzzles more often.

At the bottom of the post are some tiny example puzzles in their regular format, since most of these are less popular types.

Draw a path through the centers of some cells, entering the grid at the “IN” marking and exiting at the “OUT” marking. Within each subsection the path obeys the rules of its respective genre, listed below in top to bottom order.

Crystal Mine: The path must collect every crystal, but must not occupy all four cells in any 2x2 area of the subsection

Unequal Length Maze: All empty cells of the subsection must be visited by the path, and no two consecutive straight lines in the path may be of the same length (including segments crossing into adjacent subsections)

Persistence of Memory: The cells of the subsection used by the path (which are not consecutive) do not touch orthogonally or diagonally. The path visits each shaded region at least once, and if two shaded regions are the same shape and orientation, the line segments within them must be identical

Icebarn: The path must travel through all of the arrows in the indicated direction. Two perpendicular line segments may intersect each other only on icy cells, but they may not turn at their intersection or otherwise overlap. The path may not turn on icy cells, and each orthogonally connected group of icy cells must be passed through at least once

Solve on Penpa+ https://tinyurl.com/yntv5glu LineOX is recommended for CM and PoM, and LineX is recommended for ULM and Icebarn, switch mode under the loop tab
